With eight years of DJing under her belt and an enviable history of working alongside some of the biggest global artists of the day, Jesabel has today released her highly anticipated debut pop single, Gemini. An electrifying and exuberant track, Gemini is dripping head-to-toe in sheer sugary energy.

Jesabel is a pioneer. She is the first female DJ to ever mix Ministry of Sound‘s ‘The Annual‘ compilation. She has presented on MTV, hosted on iHeart Radio‘s dance station, and performed at the likes of Marquee SingaporeOmnia BaliIt’s The Ship SingaporeUltra AustraliaStereosonic and Future Music Festival. She’s also worked with some of the best in the business, like Steve Aoki, Ed Sheeran, Bliss n Eso, and Martin Garrix (to name a few).

Today, she claims her space as a solo artist. Releasing the ultra feel-good, upbeat, electro-pop track ‘Gemini‘, Jesabel has grabbed the bull by the horns and is simply begging us to keep up with her under her spotlight. The vibrant track is a tribute to the late ’70s and early ’80s disco era, with a modern pop twist. It’s overflowing with catchy hooks that penetrate you to the core, giving you the same thrilling and overpowering sense of fun that a track like Booty Luv‘s ‘Some Kinda Rush‘ would, but with the uncomplicated pleasure of a song like Midas Touch (the Starskee Radio Edit).

The fabricated hand clap snare is an inviting touch and the Kylie Minogue/Tina Arena-esque vocals give the song a nice dose of Australian nostalgia.

I am surrounded by so many true Gemini’s in my life. Including myself! There really is never a dull moment in my relationships with my Gemini circle. I wake up not knowing what I can expect from myself sometimes, let alone those around me – it’s fun and exciting!
