The Young Henrys Best Served Loud Mini-Fest has been rescheduled for 8 January 2022. Boasting a killer line-up and ‘mates rates’ drinks, this is one sure-fire way to kick off the new year. Young Henrys has also announced that they’re taking over Wayward’s at Newtown’s Bank Hotel each Friday in December with free music and drinks specials. If that wasn’t enough, they’ve even launched a brand new G+T tinnie. Read on for more details.

Young Henrys is a team of distillers, beer lovers, passionate brewers, musicians and artists. Established in 2012 in Newtown, the group support the grassroots communities through major festivals and cultural institutions. Their latest offering of a mini-festival (originally planned for July), free live music and brand new RTDs has finally arrived to see out the year and start the next one off right.

Best Served Loud is taking over the Inner West’s Factory Theatre across two stages on Saturday, January 8. Expect to see a stacked lineup of Aussie talents including The Regime, Johnny Hunter, The Pinheads, Bec Sandridge and more. Young Henrys will also be slinging your first Newtowner on the house and ‘mates rates’ drinks all day long, so hurry down for an unmissable day at the Best Served Loud mini-fest.

Their added list of December shows is sure to breathe some more life back into Sydney’s live music scene, with an enviable line up each Friday including the likes of Dominic Breen, Down for Tomorrow and Chelsea Warner. An ode to Australian music, summer and community spirit, and with a range of Young Henrys beer specials on offer each week, Young Henrys Presents Waywards is your chance to see a string of not-to-be-missed artists over a round of cold ones at Newtown’s Bank Hotel before the year is out.

Having served the people since 2012 with their signature range of brews, gin and whisky, Young Henrys’ debut RTD release is spearheaded by Head Distiller, Carla Daunton, and marks a first-ever moment for the local distillers as it continues to expand into the world of spirits. Continuing to serve the people, and our planet, Young Henrys promise 1% of all G&T revenue to sustainability projects (1% FOR THE PLANET), made ready-to-drink in eco-friendly aluminium cans.

As Daunton says, ‘[i]t’s been such a privilege to have a hand in the creation of Young Henrys first ever RTD. It’s been a massive journey and it’s great to hold a fantastic product at the end of it that represents the signature pour I love. When you crack the can, the grapefruit and thyme flavours hit your nose straight away, then the light, spritzy tonic carries the bright and classic new world flavours of Noble Cut gin across the palate, building to a citrusy finish. Not too sweet and not too dry.
